Leading the kitchen since the reopening is Chef Alexis Guerrero, who now heads Morgan’s Mango’s culinary experience. Originally from the Dominican Republic, Alexis has a deep knowledge of the Caribbean’s flavors, ingredients, and techniques. He spent many years as the Sous Chef, supporting the restaurant’s growth from within. His drive and leadership after the hurricane were key to rebuilding not only the kitchen, but also the collaborative spirit of the team.
A Skilled and Passionate Team
Working alongside Alexis is a dedicated and experienced team. Rafael Gil, now Sous Chef, carries on the legacy of technical excellence and attention to detail, playing a vital role in the day-to-day organization of the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Maritza, as Chef de Cuisine, brings balance, expertise, and a sharp eye to every dish that leaves the pass. Her role is essential to maintaining the execution and consistency of the menu’s offerings.
Together, they’ve built a kitchen with its own creative rhythm, where experience shows in every preparation.
